The Vice President for Science at Compute Canada - Calcul Canada,  will develop a national strategy to promote and support the shared use of advanced computing to enables research and innovation for Canada.  

The role will report to the CEO and Research Advisory Committee, and advocate for research and innovation both within the organization and nationally. As an active researcher, you will have the opportunity to continue to be based out of your home university, but with frequent travel to meet with your colleagues at Compute Canada and others across the country.  

The inaugural Leslie Diamond Chair in Cancer Survivorship will enhance the development, execution and translation of cancer survivorship research at regional, national and international levels. Focusing upon the phase of the cancer trajectory occurring after primary treatment, including the challenges of effective transitioning to palliative and end of life care, the new Chair will conduct research to address the needs of cancer survivors and their families in the context of health system innovation.

The Canada Research Chair (Tier 2) in Digital Media, Art and Design at Emily Carr will provide academic leadership within IDS for a new research program that investigates the relationship between input devices, including gestural controllers, display technologies, and digital media including S3D. The context for this research is the work faculty are pursuing in interactive and dynamic media. The Chair will also work closely with lab researchers and collaborators in Canada, to develop new initiatives in the digital area.

The Canada Research Chair (Tier 1) in HealthCare Design at Emily Carr will provide academic leadership for the Health Design Lab and, with administrative support, will manage the operations of the Lab.  The Research Chair will be expected to develop the leading Lab in Canada in this field, and to establish the quantitative and qualitative value that the design disciplines can bring to pressing healthcare issues.

The Planetary Exploration group is looking for two Post Doctoral fellows to work on various aspects of the Alpha-Particle X-ray Spectrometer (APXS).
